Prescription Policy

It must be issued and signed by a Registered Medical Practitioner and clearly show:

• the doctor's name, qualification and medical registration number;
• the patient's name;
• the date it was written;
• the medicine name, strength, dosage and duration.

The image must be legible and unaltered. We reject prescriptions that are edited, cropped so that key details are missing, expired, or too blurred to read — not to be difficult, but because dispensing against one is a criminal offence for the pharmacist.

• At checkout — upload a photo or scan (JPG, PNG or PDF) when your cart contains an Rx item. This is the fastest route.
• By email — send it to quoting your order ID, if you'd rather not upload.
• A clear photo taken on a phone in good light is perfectly acceptable. It does not need to be a scan.

Every Rx order is reviewed by our registered pharmacist before it is packed. We dispense only the quantity that matches the prescribed dosage and duration — if you order more than the prescription supports, we'll dispense what it covers and refund the rest. The pharmacy reserves the right to hold or cancel any order where the prescription is invalid, expired or suspicious, and a full refund is issued when that happens.

A prescription is not a standing authorisation. For ongoing medication you need a fresh, current prescription from your doctor for each order. RogSeva can remind you when a refill is due through the medications tracker, but no reminder allows us to dispense without a valid prescription on file.

• Prescriptions are stored securely and used only for dispensing and statutory record-keeping.
• They are never sold, shared for marketing, or used to train any AI model.
• Records are retained for the period required under the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules — two years for Schedule H and H1, and longer where Schedule X requires it. This retention is a legal obligation on the pharmacy, so it overrides a deletion request for those specific records; everything else in your account can still be deleted.
